Tips for wedding dress on plane?

I am getting married in Vegas this May. I live in Iowa. I need tips on the best way to get my dress there! well..these words are part of english and will keep changing much like the english language itself. The english language changes so fast that people have to keep up with it. english today is very different now than 10 years ago. The common mistakes people make is starting to become acceptable rules approved by colleges. New words like computer jargon is created and old words that people never use anymore gets tossed away. Names like fire fighter and firemen basically mean the same thing except that more and more people are using fire fighter because it's basically more correct. lol..I have a hard time keeping up with these terms too. Like what my english professor said, when you find yourself really lost and can't keep up, that's when you know you're old.

I live in Fair Haven. Which is about a little less that an hour south of Burlington. The University of Vermont and some other colleges are up there just to let you know. There is a place called Pizza Putt. It is by the Burlington Airport. They have miniature golf, play place for little kids, and arcade. Oh, and also the restaurant. Another nice place to go is Church Street Market Place. There are some really nice neighborhoods up there, but I am not sure what they are. My aunt and my cousin live up there. Trying for a baby after miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage on 6/11/07 at 8wks. I spotted for 1week and then my period started on 7/7 but it lasted for 9 days (usually 4-5 days). I have been tracking my bbt and cm but I never pinpointed ovulation. Yesterday I had some spotting on the toilet paper. Why do I get stomach cramps?

Ever since I returned from a three month trip to North Africa in January, I have been getting cramps in my stomach (they are high and sharp--not like period cramps that are deep). Sometimes it is after eating but other times they will just appear. About a month ago they appeared and the pain got so bad that I went to the hospital. They determined that it wasn't my appendix or my gall bladder. The doctor thought it might be an ovarian syst and sent me home. The pain subsided a few days later. However, it still comes back in a much midler form almost every day. I have had blood and urine tests and the doctors can't figure out what it is. Could I have contracted something while in Africa?

2000 dodge caravan sluggish and lacking power?

My 2000 dodge caravan lacks power and won't accelerate at 55 mph and under. even when stomping on the pedal. going uphills it bogs down too. Many parts have been replaced including... cat converter,o2 sensor,IAC,tps and EGR valve. still nothing. shifts into overdrive on the smallest hill. it will only accelerate if you let up on the gas. SLOOOOW on takeoff as well. fuel filter has also ben replaced. turns over 3-4 times and starts. could it be my fuel pump? or leaking injectors? I am stumped and my mechanic says nothing is wrong! beyond 60 mph it will take off but getting it there is a chore. what's next?

Im stopping feeding but i keep getting plugged ducts?

I have been feeding for 9 weeks. For the first 3 days my baby was formula fed because I was on so many pain killers (c-section) that I was pretty much doped up the whole time I was in the hospital. So I was having problems getting the baby to latch. With the help of two hospital lactation consultants I still couldn't get her to latch on. So I used a hand pump the first week that she was home, then I went to wic and their lactation consultant couldnt get her to latch either, so they gave me an electric pump. I have had many problems pumping, I was pumping every two hours and it would take 30min to an hour to empty my (even on the highest setting). Then I started getting plugged ducts, first it was just every now and then but now it is everyday, and as soon as I get them unplugged they are plugged again within an hour to two hours, I am in extreme pain. Tried taking tylenol, didnt work, im allergic to ibuprofen and naproxen. So i took half of my left over percocet and that worked, but I cant keep taking narcotics just in order to keep pumping. So i have decided to stop but my milk ducts wont stop clogging. So how am i supposed to stop if they wont stop clogging?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am not in the mood to celebrate Christmas, I wish I could just cancel it, what should I do?

About 5 months ago we had a flood in our house and we lost a lot of our furniture, books, pictures, clothes, etc. My husband promised he was going to fix the house before December 10th so we can decorate for Christmas and celebrate holidays. He refused to hire help, he wanted to do everything on his own. I've been helping him also. For some reason he hasn't seemed very motivated to fix the house, he'd rather watch movies all day...I've tried everything - I asked, begged, cried, argued, but the bottom line is - it has been 5 months and the house is not nearly finished. Christmas is coming and we can't even have a Christmas tree and decorations, everything is trashed, covered in drywall dust and paint. I am very depressed about it, but my husband seems ok with it, he tells me to stop complaining. He says - "what is the big deal?". How do I get over feeling sad? I love Christmas and I was looking forward to it, i thought the house would be done by now, I bought a lot of presents, decorations, etc. Now I feel like crap, I don't want to go anywhere because I see Christmas decorations everywhere I go and it makes me sad that I can't celebrate Christmas the way I always do. I am also very upset with my husband because he doesn't seem to care...Am I wrong?

Is Riga a safe place to go to?

I've spent several weeks all total in Riga in the past 3 years, often walking around with 5 young gypsy children who we were adopting; we obviously weren't doing the night life/partying bit, tho I had young men half my age try to pick me up in a nice hotel. Take the trip across the river in the cable car. Go to the Tervete Forest for a breathtaking, quiet place. Ride the train to Jelgava-in the city center is a great restaurant where delicious mashed potatoes are served with huge capers-I always have to have capers now with my potatoes. Oh, order potatoes every time you eat-they will be served with the best gravies in the world! Don't: loiter on the streets or hallways of buildings-someone will tell you that you MUST move on; don't make noise in a rented apt-they will threaten to throw you out! Do talk every day with the doorman of any apartment bldg you're staying in, bc one day you will need him to let you in! Don't lean on handrails in dark staircases once you get past-oh, say, the first floor! Don't expect anyone to be thrilled to have Americans (if that's what you are) in their city. You can't impress them with your Russian (even if they're listening to Russian-language radio) but you CAN impress/soften them with a few words of the Latvian language. My laptops internet connection isn't working! What do I do?!?

When i played WoW i wasn't having disconnections, but this type of problem that involved in my connection. So later on tonight, all i do is unplug BOTH my modem and my router for a laptop. Then after that, i turn on my laptop and it says I have the connection as I did! But somehow the router is still running all the lights like it did before and wheres nothing wrong with the router, but i can't connect to the same internet as my desktop does. Cause the connection on the desktop is fine, and the modem looks normal also. But i don't understand how come the laptops connection isn't working and the router looks normal, but the thing is that the right connection(which is the number 4 on it) blinks slowly, and I really don't remember it doing that or not? I am extremely furious with this cause I was gonna but WoW today, now i can't because of the nonsense! Even though when i troubleshoot the prob on my laptop, it says the modem is having connection problems(If it did I wouldn't be able to be on here) or another would be the DSN and i don't even know all that! I just simply unplugged the plugs and power cords from both the modem and router and I shut the entire pc down. Then 2nd i plug each back in. Then the router was blinking on 4 a little bit then idk what was going on because i thought it did it before, but when i powered up my laptop it had the sign where it didn't have internet access on it, and i was really concerned. So i go and see whats wrong and i just don't see any problems and i been doing troubleshooting and internet diagnose and it still doesn't work. In conclusion, All i did was unplug it and see if it would kinda give a better internet connection when i play World of Warcraft, cause i was reading some stuff on it to unplug the modem or router then to restart them. And to give you some info on the router its a Netgear and i have a Acer laptop. If someone could help me i would be grateful :)

Question about gutter support on pole barn.?

Hello I had a new pole barn built in the fall, and had continuos seamless guttering installed, with the hidden gutter supports or braces. Just been a few months and now a whold bunch of the hidden bracket or braces, not sure what they are called have popped out and some of them are bent and now can see they are not holding the gutter correctly like they were. Man that installed them says it is not his problem as ice causes this. I really need to know what is the best and long term solution to fix my gutter as this building was 4o,ooo dollars and is nice and finished but they hired this other getter person to do the gutters. He said probably needs ice shields or shelf brakcets to stop ice. I want it to look nice but also stay in place. and hold water without swaying in spots ect. If you are a professsional and have knowledge of gutters please advise me on what needs to be dont to fix them properly. The gutter man said if i replace the ones that have went straight or hook part not holding inside of getter, will do the same thing again with ice, Problem is i do not think i had tons of ice this winter, I live in Indiana. Pancreatitis... How did anyone feel the first time they ate after being hospitalized from having pancreatitis?

I was in the Hospital for 5 days on iv fluids and antibiotics for pancreatitis. Now this is the third time I've had it in 3 months and every time it was after I was drinking so I ume its the liquor. Now! No problem I quit. This last time my labs got up to 2500 and I was in the worse pain I ever imagined. The stomach doctor let me drink broth and juice the last day and told me I can eat solid foods. my labs came down to 579, I didn't right away. So today I ate a little rice and george forman grilled chicken. I don't know how I suppose to feel but I feel a weird feeling in the pit of my stomach where it started. No Pain though just uncomfortable. I haven't ate in a week. Is this normal or am I just freaking out scared of another attack? How do you report a bad landlord so someone else will not make the same mistake?

We have rented from our landlord for 2 years because the housing available in our town is very slim. There are several things wrong that we have doented since the day we moved in. He will not fix them and will not reimburse if we do. The windows and doors all leak air and water. One window just fell out. The chimneys are falling in. We have 500-800 dollar power bills each month and we don't hardly use any lights and the thermostat is locked on 65 degrees. We finally found a place to go and are out the end of April but I want to find a way to warn others who may come to look at this place of what HELL they are getting into. The landlord will lie to you. He will hide the rent and say he didn't get it and then charge you a late charge of hundreds of dollars. We were 3 days late on rent one time and he called my parents (who are in thier 70's and live 6 hrs away) and told them he has to chase me down ad demanded THEY send him rent. They hung up on him and he proceeded to call them every hour until they finally talked to him. They called me and I explained that I talked to him and let him know we would be about 3 days late due to my pay period (and this is the truth) and he said "Oh O.K. thats fine just keep me posted". He want you to maintain his yard or he will charge you an extra 200 buck a month. If you do his yard it will be when and how he want it regardless of if you have plans or not. He will show up at the drop of a hat and start yelling and demanding you do his yard because of this or that and he willl not leave until you do it. Seriously, He actually came here 7 times in one day yelling because his yard wasn't mowed. It was raining and you can't very well mow in the rain. He finally clled the sherrif on me stating that I broke my lease. Until I explained it to the sherrif and he left. This guy is rude, crude, underhanded, a thief, and a slum lord. These are just a few of the things we have dealt with and I hat to see anyone else go through it. How do I make people aware of this guy without getting sued for slander or something. How do I let people know about him and this house. HELLLLP!

I'm currently in the middle of a dispute with my neighbours downstairs about us practising clical music in the flat upstairs - we play the piano, violin and cello. Should I repair my refrigerator or get a new one...?

The repair process is expensive and I just chucked my old one for a new one. Biggest reason is that technology has made the new fridges much more economical to operate. Since you aren't in a terrific rush, go out and look at the new ones and then start looking for it on sale. I bought a bottom freezer Samsung that really gets the freezer cold. I don't like the gl shelves or their spacing as much as my old one but that freezer is great. My frozen food is really frozen and you can put it on -16 if wanted. The bathroom is above the garage. The garage is not heated. I am uming that the drain must be freezing, since it only happens when the weather is below freezing for more than a full day. If water is collecting in the drain it must either have negative pitch or there must be a trap installed and the water in the trap is freezing causing a blockage. Anyone else seen this problem??? Any easy fixes?? I would have to cut a hole in the drywall of the ceiling in the garage to access it, but should I just remove the trap?? What problems could that cause?

Food Poisoning...please help me!?

I suspect I got food poisoning on Sunday night. I had order a sausage pizza from Subway. Within a couple hours I started to feel sick to my stomach and had some diarrhea. Within an hour of coming home I was vomiting. I must have thrown up like 15 times. It has been about 3 days now and I feel much better but my stool is a liquid yellow with some solid bits in it...I am sorry for being graphic. Is this okay? Pregnancy is just one of those things you have to wait it out. Everyone is always trying to find out so soon, and a lot of people just set themselves up for failure. I know trying to conceive is extremely exciting and the waiting is so hard to do when you want it so bad, but honestly, there's nothing you can do but wait. Especially if you've taken three tests already. They say for the average healthy woman, you shouldn't get a positive result until TWO WEEKS after your missed period, even with the at home tests that say early detection. Just give it some time and let your body adjust to what may or may not be happening. Sometimes women's cycles change randomly from being on time same day every month to skipping a whole month from time to time. I hope everything works out for you, but it's just nature, you gotta wait it out and about another week or two, I'd take another test. If still shows up negative then call your dr. for a blood test or to see what your other options are. Best of luck

I personally would. Then I would create a portfolio of my work with this piece as the main highlight. I would contact businesses to advise them you take photographs for artistic and marketing purposes and would love to find the right piece for them from your original and tailored creations. Then at the end I would have a list of places your work has been seen. You want to get your photos out to as many places as possible, even if free so that you can establish credentials so to speak. This is just the angle I would take. Some people would try to make money from the get go but thats not how I would do it. You could branch out into wedding and special event photography and make a few hundred dollars for a days work. Opportunities are only limited by your work ethic and imagination.

Granola Bar Question?

Today, when I was munching on a granola bar, I discovered something strange. I don't usually have granola bars, but when I swallowed the first bite, itfelt like I was eating something very familiar. I then thought to myself, this is young gr, I've eaten this on a dare before. When I spit out the contents, I had seen numerous tiny seedlings of gr, just a few millimeters across. My friend, who was eating the same thing for the first time noticed the same thing. Then when we looked up a grain of granola under a microscope at home, we did in fact see immature seedlings just sprouting out. Is it normal to find such things in a granola bar? I do know that this in fact is known as germ, because the plant has barely germinated out of its seed. I also know that wheat and barley germ is used in brewing beer and several foods as reported on their labels. If this is the case, I find grain and beer to be disgusting, and will never eat it again. Is this so?

hi my name is Donna and I go to a charter school. just a year ago I found out I had many stomach problems like acid reflex, gastric ulcers and gastritis. so I am pretty much alway in pain. but last year I went to school way more then I did this year. and when I'm absent I always email my teachers and get my work I missed that day. I used to be a 3.4 student with all a's and two or three b's. and in grammar school I was a 4.0 student. but that all changed this. during the summer time I was always sick from cramping pains, to nausea, or even vomiting. I start school in august, so I don't have much time off, I was always in and out of the hospital and doctors trying to find so medicine to help me but not much work make a difference. so my family and I decided to change doctors and get a stomach doctor, about a month into school I found out I had ibs - irritable bowel syndrome. and if you don't know kid with this can't take medicine unless your a certain age, and I'm too young. so I have to deal with the pain everyday no-stop.and it gets worse when I'm stressed out. and I have been stressed out everyday about school , I have been in bed everyday and night in pain crying. because of school, my deans are no help at all. not once did they call to ask me about anything. and most of my teachers weren't sending me work. so my dad decided to go to my school and talk to them. they told him I was going to fail. and that made everything worse on me. I'm always upset about school , I want to beable to graduate with my friends. but I asked them if I could be home schooled until I felt better or take online cles and they ignored me. and that my story, so I as wondering if I could go to the board of education and tell them what's been going on and ask them not to hold me back because of everything and because I asked my dean to let me do home schooling, and they never once tried to help menwith anything. I have fermented broth showing antibacterial activity but not able to purify active compound, what is principle to remove coloured impurities, water soluble or other compound, what is the acidification, precipitation, crystalization. Is any good books on the basic principle of thise work. I am just using ethylacetate and butanol but how to remove coloured impurities and other byproduct, some researchers has used pH drift and other ways but i can not get the basic principle behind it.
