Is the WWE no longer allowed to cuss or use profanity on Raw?

I was watching old youtube videos of Raw and I noticed that they don't use simple words like "***" or "damn" anymore. Did they make a contract? What happened? I know some children watch it but still, it seems odd that its a little more clean and PG and no longer PG-13.
