Mac or pc which is better?

Is a mac or a pc better for someone who likes to play online games such as pogo and big fish? if mac is mac mini, desktop, or laptop? If PC which brand. Currently have hp slimline 1 gb, but am giving it to my teenager, want a new for my self.
